The Metropolitan Club is one of the grandest spaces of old New York. The club was founded by JP Morgan (supposedly because, as a member of the nouveau riche, he was not accepted as a member to the other proper gentleman’s clubs of that day… so he figured he’d build his own). i consider my team of photographers among the best at capturing those split second funny moments that go on at weddings. but sometimes humor comes not from something that happens at the wedding but comes from the photographer and the actual act of “fixing” the image. in these cases, there is no ‘joke’ per se outside the photograph itself.

Just wanted to finally give props to Ron who shot the “epic” section header for The Reception section of New York Magazine’s Winter Weddings Issue. It was another beautiful wedding design by Jung Lee of Fete and was held at the amazing Brooklyn Museum.
