gwen and noelle are two of the sweetest children i have ever met. i had actually forgotten about this session – it was shot almost a year ago. i stumbled across it again today – the bold colors and bright smiles still hold their magic, making me wish i were 7 years old again.

how cool were helium balloons?! my brother and i used to write messages on them and release them into the deep blue void wondering who might find them, and where. recently i was wondering why i’ve never found any deflated balloons with secret messages from another sibling duo. then i read online that they rise to about five miles, freeze and burst into spaghetti-like pieces that scatter and fall back down.

that’s a secret i won’t be sharing with my own children.

i just had to share this album we put together for ryan’s bar mitzvah. i absolutely loved the cover with the navy leather and navy font – incorporating the colors from the event itself.

but i also wanted to show you how awesome the clone albums are. here you see a primary 12×12 album with a 7×7 clone and a 5×5 clone. i think the 7×7 is my favorite – the cover just pops and makes me itch to open it up. these are GREAT for parent or grandparent albums or gifts for your bridal party – and because they’re exact digital copies of the primary album, we’re able to give them to you at some really discounted prices. you pretty much can’t pass it up!

it’s really nice to win awards and get recognized by industry experts, but the rubber really meets the road with our clients.  the knot ‘s best of weddings is determined by brides’ raves and reviews.  we’re proud that, once again, we’ve won The Knot’s Best of Weddings Award.

David’s Numbers co-star Judd Hirsch was really bringing it on the dance floor!

Seth Rogen, James Franco, Martin Starr, Jay Baruchel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rob Morrow, and so many other hilarious people together in one big ballroom makes for quite the party. it was a star-studded evening and EVERYONE was having a good time.

the bouquet was a HOT commodity. i’m not sure we’ve ever seen the girls wrestle it out like this…

WPJAs annual contest in cooperation with Brides’ Magazine announced their winners while back and we were delighted to win another for New York City.

i love shooting people from other countries here in my hometown of Manhattan.  after awhile we New Yorkers do get a bit jaded, it’s true – but through the eyes of out-of-towners, we can re-experience the awesomeness of this great city.

and with that introduction we meet Alison and Nick – a couple of Aussies who came to the big apple to tie the knot.

and experience some of the coldest temps ever in December…

Nick had never experienced serious cold before in his life.  That handsome scowl on his face should actually be read as, “Christ, mate, my fingers are turnin’ bloody numb!”
