been getting lots of requests to post some images from our recent wedding in anguilla so I thought I’d give everyone a small taste.
genevieve wore this wonderful dress by monique lhuillier and these shots are from a session we did at shoal bay on the day following her wedding .
we had such a wonderful time with genevieve and steven and all of their wonderful friends and family – by the end of the trip it was like we’d known them forever. lots more to come…
it’s tough enough sending two kids off to school in NYC with this whole swine flu thing going around but it’s extra harsh when you wake up in the morning to find out that the building two doors down from you just collapsed.
luckily the car was in the garage at the time….
i’m not sure if this is officially procured gear – but i realized many of these firefighters keep a wooden doorstop on their helmet (above)
the irony is that it’s the building at the OTHER end of our block (to the left in the image below) that’s condemned because it’s been undermined by nearby construction and is at risk of collapse.
living in manhattan really does keep you on your toes…
Well there’s an exciting little bit o’ news. The latest issue of American Photo Magazine has named us to their list of “Top 10 Wedding Photographers”. This is super sweet for us not only because it’s nice to be recognized and listed alongside other well known photographers like Denis Regie and Joe Buissink (ok, well known to us photographers) but also because I pretty much suck at blowing our own horn so it’s really nice when someone like American Photo does it for us.
Feel free to continue in the horn blowing on our behalf and tell everyone you know that it’s now official – We’re one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers!
Next week we’re off to the wonderful island of Anguilla again to shoot the wedding of Genevieve + Steven so we thought we’d wander the mean streets of NYC before heading off to the sun and sand.
