OK, Seriously.
The weather is getting good so if you haven’t been to an amusement park lately, there’s really no good excuse anymore.
Those rides you did as a kid? They’re still there and their still fun (although they seem a bit smaller, cramped and seedier than they used to). But sometimes seedy is just the ticket.
What can be better than a PARK designed for AMUSEMENT?

And the good old The Tilt a Whirl (made in Minnesota by Sellner Manufacturing since their invention in 1927 ) is as nauseating as ever!
Minnesota never gets the credit it deserves!
Now go out and get amused!

so I’m working with this great couple, daniella and adam on the streets downtown…

and this older couple parks on the street right by where we’re shooting…

and while we’re right in the middle of shooting (as in the shutter is clicking), the couple asks adam if he’ll carry in a box for them from the car.

…now in the suburbs, you ask your neighbor to give you a hand with a heavy package without a 2nd thought…
but this is downtown manhattan.

but adam, being the nice guy that he is…

stopped everything to help.

it was kinda bizarre.
and pretty hilarious.
I’ve been doing some T&L lifestyle work and wanted to do a shoot in Puerto Rico.
When doing a shoot like this, you’ve got to bring your own models and assistant – and if you and your assistant make your own models, all the better…
Here our boys tour the streets of Old San Juan

Inside El Morro – the fortress, built starting in 1539, that defended the island from invaders. The external walls are 6 meters thick to ward off cannon shot during long sieges. Over time the English, Dutch, and even the US attacked the fort.

Today, in addition to being a US National Historic Site, it’s also a national park – famous for its kite flying.
Here’s Cole and Miles trying their hand.

And Cole diggin the local graffiti.

One day took us to El Yunque – the only rainforest in the US National Park system.

More to come…
