Fine china? You registered for fine china?

Ok, don’t get me wrong. Fine china is… well… fine. You get to pull it out of the closet a few times a year and your friends get to put their food on it. That’s nice. It keeps the table linens that you also registered for from getting dirty so I suppose it’s quite handy in fact. Which makes it more practical than the pretty glass objet d’art that you also registered for. You really only registered for THAT because you decided that you couldn’t register for something you REALLY wanted – like that giant lcd tv, or that stereo or those shoes because, quite honestly, that’s just not cool and you needed to put more things in that price range on the registry anyway. How handy.

Hmmmm, if only there were another option. If only you could register for something you would really like… something you wanted that would be cool to ask for… something that would stand the test of time – an heirloom in fact, and something that (gasp) would be meaningful to give! Whatever could that be?

Well – it’s officially here. The Registry at brian dorsey studios.

Put brian dorsey studios on your list of places you’re registered and your family and friends can contribute to something meaningful. Totally win/win. They give something they feel good about giving and you get something you actually want. Something your children will admire and thank you for someday instead of saying, “What were they thinking when they asked for this thing?”

We provide gift certificates in any for any amount between $100 and $5000. They can be left open or earmarked for albums, prints, future portrait sessions, etc. Beats a vase, no?

It’s going to be like EZ-Pass. A pretty simple idea – yet really useful. We’re all going to ask ourselves down the road why didn’t we think of this sooner?

And of course, we give you a really nice gift certificate for presenting to the couple.
