This weekend we finally hooked up with a guy who had the foresight to hire us to photograph his proposal. There we were, lying in ambush, Mr. Thoughtful and his unsuspecting fiancee-to-be in the sights of our 200mm lens. He goes down on his knee, out comes the ring and we’re there like CIA operatives capturing it all for them – so they can relive the shock, the joy, the awe over and over. For having the foresight to bring us along he of course gets extra bonus points from every woman with whom she shares the story for the rest of her life (starting with her Mom – right then and there).
