This Saturday we were out again at the wonderful Brooklake Country Club for Amy and Tony’s wedding. Amy’s Dad, Dale, missed the end of the party and our “Still Live” cinema so I told her I’d get some pictures up here quickly for her so she could share them with him.
One of the things that’s about the Still Live that makes it so cool is that people get to see what we do with a real day – one that they have been a part of. That’s really when you can appreciate the magic we work. People really get it when we take a shot of an apparently boring moment in a no-place-special location and we end up with something that’s really amazing. Even more than the beautiful pictures of the beautiful people having beautiful moments in beautiful locations – that’s what makes our work shine. In fact, one of the guests, who is getting married in October decided that, although she had already put her deposit down on another photographer, after seeing our work that night, she would give up her retainer and hire us instead. How flattering is that?
